This is a photo from Laura and Mal's wedding, and it's one of my favourites. It was just after they had their first kiss as husband and wife, and you can just see how happy and in love Laura is.

This is another beautiful moment from James and Ruth's wedding. It was taken during the speeches, James had just thanked this lady for making the cake for her and called her forward to receive a thank you gift, and the whole marquee burst into applause.

Monday Moments

I haven't been the best with keeping this little blog up to date, and I'm hoping to change that. One of the ways I'm hoping to do that is by adding a new feature: Monday Moments. Every Monday, I'm going to post a photo from a wedding that I've shot that really captures a moment - it might be serious or silly, but it will be a photo that really means a lot to me, and probably to the bride and groom too.

I'm inspired to do this by Moment Junkie, which I am addicted to! As a photographer, I think the spontaneous moments at your wedding are the most special, and I strive to capture as many as possible. Lots of these photos make me well up or smile or even crack me up!



This image is one of my favourites, and a perfect example of photos that make me actually laugh out loud. I love how the photo has been captured mid-dance, and the expressions on the groom and ushers faces are priceless.

My first wedding fair

Not last Sunday but the Sunday before, I attended my first wedding fair at Elsecar Heritage Centre. It went very well, I had such a good time! It was quite quiet (thanks in no small part I'm sure to the glorious weather we were having then!) but still good; so good in fact that I will be at the next one!
